Our Story
About Our Spa in Westlake, Ohio
Sessions run 30 minutes, 60 minutes or 90 minutes, and every booked minute is hands-on time.

A wellness and beauty spa in Westlake, Ohio — where you come to slow down, feel good, and take care of yourself.
We opened Care Healing Hands — an independently owned spa in Westlake, Ohio — with a simple idea: self-care should feel natural. No complicated menus, no rushed sessions, no pressure. Just a clean, warm space and skilled hands ready to help you feel better.
From the moment you walk in, everything is set up around your comfort — the soft lighting, the calm atmosphere, the pace that lets you actually unwind. Whether you need deep muscle work after a long week, a facial to reset your skin, a manicure with your best friend, or just an hour with your eyes closed and nowhere to be — this is your time.
Massage therapy, facials, nail care, and waxing — all under one roof at our spa in Westlake, Ohio, and all done by licensed, trained therapists. We listen to what you need, we do it well, and we make sure you leave feeling better than when you walked in.
Grand Opening
Officially Open
We were honored to celebrate our grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony joined by the Mayor of Westlake and members of the local community. It was a proud moment that marked the beginning of our commitment to serving Westlake and its neighbors.
A Moment We Are Proud Of
Mayor Clough Stopped By

Not every morning starts with the Mayor of Westlake at your front desk. Mayor Clough came by to see the space on Detroit Road, meet the team, and welcome Care Healing Hands to the community in person — no ceremony, no cameras, just a genuinely warm visit from the city we chose to build in.
We do not take that lightly. Care Healing Hands is independently owned — not a franchise, no memberships, no contracts, no monthly auto-charges. Every massage, facial, manicure, and waxing appointment is done by a trained therapist who takes a minute to ask what you actually need, and who will still be here the next time you walk in. That is the standard we opened with, and it is why neighbors from Westlake, Rocky River, Bay Village, North Olmsted, and Avon keep coming back.
If you have been meaning to try us, take this as your invitation. Come see the spa the Mayor came to visit — massage therapy, facial treatments, nail care, and waxing, all under one roof, with free parking right outside the door.

How We Talk About Wellness
Sources & Research
We try not to promise things massage cannot deliver. Everything we say about relaxation, tension, and recovery traces back to the same public sources anyone can read — the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health at the NIH, the American Massage Therapy Association, and Mayo Clinic.
NCCIH's guidance on choosing a practitioner is worth reading before you book anywhere, not just with us: ask about training, tell your therapist about any health conditions, and keep your regular medical provider in the loop. That is exactly how we operate — a short conversation before every first session, and an honest answer when something is outside what a spa should handle.

What Your First Visit Looks Like
People who have never been to an independent spa often expect the membership pitch they got somewhere else. There is not one here. This is the whole arc of a first visit at Care Healing Hands, from walking through the door on Detroit Rd to walking back out.
- 1
You are greeted by someone who works here
Not a call center and not a rotating front desk. The people running this business are the same ones who booked your appointment.
- 2
A short intake form
About 5 minutes covering injuries, medications, allergies, and anything to avoid. It genuinely changes how your therapist works.
- 3
A conversation before hands-on work
Your therapist asks what you want out of the session and what pressure you like. Saying you would rather not talk is a normal answer.
- 4
The session runs its full booked time
Your booked time is hands-on time. Consultation and getting dressed sit outside it rather than eating into it.
- 5
You leave without a sales pitch
No contracts, no monthly auto-charge, no membership close at the desk. Rebook if you want to, and ask for the same therapist by name.
